Life of my Michelin Pilot Sport 4S's
Well, I finally replaced them after 28,000 miles and one or two HPDE weekends at Roebling Road Raceway. My rears were at 3-4 32nd's and my fronts were around 5. Can't say I could be any happier with a tire, I just wish they had a stiffer sidewall for a little better turn in. I don't know if I will buy another set as they were a couple hundred more than I paid the first time, but man these tires are crazy good all around. In the rain, it's night and day better than those deadly Goodyear runflats. I went with 255/285s like I did last time. I don't do burnouts, so that probably helped me some. I do drive fairly aggressively any time there are turns though. I pushed quite hard at the track and was very impressed, as was my instructor and all the brand XXX's that I passsed.

I will be buying another set for sure. I have 15k miles on my set, of that about 11k miles of it has been while the car is supercharged. The fronts look great and all things considered the rears dont look bad either for having to deal with 650rwhp.

Don't take them to CMP before they get the repaving done, supposed to be this summer. I went through half a set of Super Sports on my last car. Some of that was heavy, FWD, torquey car problems, but it's known to eat tires and alignments for that matter.

I only really ever go to Roebling Road. I need to drag myself to the dragstrip soon though.

Mine have a lot of life left, but I'll buy them again.

Need to measure remaining tread on mine. They have 16k miles on ‘em and still look fine. I’m mostly stock and no track time, but I do push ‘em on corners when I can (this car still amazes me in that regard).
