This hood alignment is driving me crazy!

For a car that spent two months in QC , you would think the hood we be aligned better. Is it just me that being crazy because I see it every time I get in and out of the car ?

That is bad. You can see the gap get bigger as it gets closer to the windshield. They need to fix that.

I'm not sure I would have taken delivery of that. Go point it out to the dealer and get them to repair under warranty?

Look at your doors as well, every manufacturer has these issues, thankfully don't have to pay like a Ferrari owner till after warranty. Sucks to say, but got to take it in. There is adjustment built in if you want to try.

It looks like the hood needs to be moved forward. The body lines in the fender appear to line up with the crease in the hood...but that gap is off.

Got any other pictures? I'm curious what the front end looks like.

Definitely worth taking in. That's what a bumper-to-bumper warranty is for. Luckily, it should be an easy fix.

Sheesh. They did a terrible job there. It's a good reminder for me to look at stuff like that before accepting my car.

Ironically, my car is being produced the same week as the DIY special is being run, so maybe the workers will be a little extra careful with their quality knowing that they are being watched

Wow, that's some of the worst alignment I have ever seen.. That sucks..
If they're doing that bad with something as trivial as aligning panels, what else are they doing half-assed??
