And the 2019+ Camaros are louder than the older CA6 Camaros, which I also have owned. I bought a set of MRR 1LE replica rims for my LT1. With these you can mount the SS 1LE and base ZL1 tire sizes. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S recommended. Expensive but worth it. 285/30ZR20 and 305/30ZR20. Here is a pic of my 2016 2SS with those wheels:

I think the 1LT idea is a great one for GM. Lots of folks looking to get into an LT1 engined Camaro without spending the big bucks on an SS model. If that had been available when I bought my 2018, I would most assuredly bought one. Congrats!

I never even knew there was a LT1 Camaro when i had to lemon law my new 2019 C7. I bought a Spark on a lark. Car was insane on gas. $10 for 3 weeks. I have always been a V8 guy so driving the spark just had no sole.

If they only they came with a wheel you can put a real tire on. By the time you put a set of wheels and tires you don't save much coin over a 1SS. But I still really like the looks of them so who cares...buy what ya like and enjoy!

The LT1 is $34K Vs $37.5K, a $3.5K difference. Yea you need wider wheels to mount good size tires. I did see a private ad for a new Set of base 2019 SS wheels/tires for $750 or best offer. And a base like new ZL1, wheels and tires for $3,500. Nicer choice there. My MRR 1LE replicas with PS4s is a little under $3K. So yea KingLT1, spot on. Of course if you really want to use a set of PS4s on a track get the SS.

I have meshed with this car already. Man what a world of diff over my dead 2019 C7. This car wants to get up and go and sounds so much better than my NPP on my C7 and no big time lag like on the C7.

Back end sure kicks out fast with these stock tires. Gave it a blip and around it wanted to go.
I had plans to add more power but i think wider tires will come first. |

I added a Rotofab dry. My LT1 sounds better than any other mostly stock car I have ever owned. An LT2 IM should make it sound even deeper....

I gotta wonder if a after market exhaust is even worth it? Maybe Borla or Corsa. My C6 with no cats and headers and open NPP was a screamer but got old being so loud all the time as the NPP in a box had a mind of it's own and was stuck open all the time.
