Four Camaro ZL1s, four good friends, four racetracks, four screaming superchargers, some rowdy exhaust systems, a truckload of Goodyear 3R tires, boxes of brake pads, and tons of smiles per gallon! Over the years 2018 – 2021, the Racing for ALS team has been over 150 mph at tracks like Virginia International Raceway (VIR), Charlotte Motor Speedway (CMS), Carolina Motorsports Park (CMP), and Lonestar Motorsports Park (Hennessey Performance Test Track). The team met at the track and shared a common bond of horsepower, personally improving as drivers, Camaros, and representing Racing for ALS. The Camaro ZL1 1LE is a potent track weapon and embarrasses cars costing more than twice the price of admission of the Chevrolet. The 6.2L V8 comes equipped from the factory with an Eaton supercharger and is rated at 650HP/650 lb-ft. Cold-air intakes, like Rotofab, let the superchargers scream like a banshee! Enjoy the sound of high-speed flybys on closed-course racetracks.

So ZL1s are 570hb at the wheels from the factory? I always wondered what mine was stock since it hasn't seen a DYNO yet, probably will after the Magnuson install but still interesting as I thought we'd be about 550 to the wheels.

The exact number always depends on the dyno calibration, altitude/air density and several other factors, so separate dyno readings are not comparable. As to stock ZL1s, I've seen numbers ranging from 535 to 585 rwhp.

Here's my dyno. 568 RWHP with a rotofab and ported throttle body and no tune. Most people will argue that the HP benefit of the parts will be eliminated over time due to the factory tune. A10 automatic transmission.
