The C8 looks like an exotic car. It's not the most beautiful design when it comes to the detailing, but at least Chevy finally got their mid-engine Corvette after nearly 50 years.

Dear Chevy, please ignore the OP! There hasn't been a Camaro posted on here yet that can aesthetically touch this...

I think if they eliminated the "fake" rear quarter side window from the sail panel, it would look so much better.

Can anyone here photoshop this?

I agree that the C8 looks better in person.

The new Vette is sex on wheels, like literally banging down the highway.

I welcome our mid-engine V8 overlords.

I agree. I have plans to buy a used one if they ever get in the mid 50's range. I figure 4 years at least. I loved the looks of my C6's and C7 but the C8 takes it to another level.

Sorry, but no. The C8 is far better than the render. The C8 has it's detractors, but it is wonderful car.

The front end is one of the biggest complaints about the Gen6, with a redo, and then another redo. Plopping it on the C8 doesn't help that.

That's funny, I bought my Camaro despite the way it looks, not because of it. The c8 is far more attractive as is.

Don't really like the rendering but I feel that cars with long strong hoods and short rear decks are far more attractive than cars with sloping short hoods and long rear decks aka mid engine cars.

Hence, for me the C7 is way better looking than the C8 and also for me, the gen 6 ZL1 is way better looking than the C8. Mostly because of the reason mentioned above.

I think the most radical change was C6 to C7. C7 seemed to embrace the exotic lines, angles, aggressive styling, kind of a no-holds-barred to one-up Ferrari and AM in front-engined styling, and I think it does just that. When you see a Z06, it's just flat out hot-ness and far removed from the old-guy-car image.

C8 is more of an evolution of that style IMO. It kind of carries it forward, changes the configuration obviously, but seems to retain a lot of the same cues and hard angles. I like C8 a lot, but I don't tend to compare different engine configurations in that way.
