I thought June Cleaver was much better at translating jive talk than teaching the kids a lesson.

Most risque phrase used on television in 1959.

June Cleaver to Ward Cleaver: Ward, you were a little hard on the beaver last night.

Every time Beaver did something bad Ward would take it out on June and tear up the beaver.

He always reminds me of a friend I had growing up.

Just Googled it: Larry Mondello and Gilbert are still kicking too.

Eddie was a very interesting character. He was the annoying bully friend but in the end with a good heart. He was just trying to be liked but did not know how to make that happen.

And even as a kid I thought, man he REALLY likes June Cleaver. As I got older that made more sense.

I will miss the smart-mouthed friend of Wally Cleaver. The premise of the series 'Leave It To Beaver' based on a classic white middle-class family of the 1950s appeals to me so much. On https://studydriver.com/suicide/, I have read some ideas and curiosities about suicide and ... it put Eddie Haskell's death in mind. Like a study driver, I started to search for information about the circumstances he died. It has already led me to the hint of suicide and to doubt whether he died "unintentionally"...
