Best App for monitering Car security?

Whats the best app for phone and or computer to monitor your car from thieves or vandals? No my car was not hit but a new Toyota in my hood which is quite quiet had all 4 wheels stolen and left sitting on bricks early Mon. morn. I assume someone was scanning the area looking for a target or maybe just wanted those rims for their car. My rims are locked which will slow them down, but I'd like an app that will show the location of my car and detect movement like being jacked up if possible.

There are some dash cams that offer cloud service for a fee I'm sure. BlackVue is one but there are others.

If you have OnStar, doesn’t the app alert your phone if the security system is tripped?

I’d suggest getting a dash camera. I’d recommend BlackVue srcstc mentioned. If dash cams aren’t your thing, CarLock would be another option id recommend you look into.

I have a Blackvue dual dash cam myself, but these "regular" dash cams do not cover anything on either side, only front and rear. A team of two can easily approach the vehicle from the sides and, say, dismount wheels without ever being recorded.

There are 360° solutions out there, but I've never used any and thus can't speak about them, hopefully others have and can share their experience.

Looks like it plugs into the OBD port. Not good if you want to run a Range AFM delete or similar tuning device.

OP, where do you park your car? How far is it away from where you live? Can you see your car from your home? Are you in a house or apartment?

Sorry new guy here. But seriously, Carlock seems to get good reviews.

You can get a y-connector ODB cable and connect two items. Amazon has one from Carlock.
