I ran hoosiers on my other cars, and heard similar things about getting 18". I will for sure get a second set. Where are you getting your slicks from? |

probably drive both auto and manual in the car level you want to get. I hear the A10 in the ZL1 is nice so test it out. it would be hard for anyone to give you perspective.

(Sorry for the thread derail)...Is 84946138 also the correct number for the rear kit (it's listed erroneously as a front kit I believe) that will fit 2022's without drilling, if you know? I need to go look at my 22 ZLE I guess and see what's actually on it already, but it looks like the rear arms on 22 are already drilled for the ducting kit from this thread: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showt...=600626&page=4 |

No specific issues to look for.
No mods needed or recommended. Get the 10spd. |

The 10spd is 'decent' but is still just a torque converter automatic. Nothing like a PDK in the GT3. You will be disappointed.
Nothing like a 6spd manual that comes loaded with rev matching if you have issues with heel/toe. The 6spd makes the ZLE lighter and more engaging. The Tremec TR6060 along with the ZL1 short throw shifter is among the top 5 shifters in existence.

I have tracked my ZLE with both the Hoosier R7's and GY 3R's. Although the R7's are good for 1-2+ seconds per lap depending on the track, to me the extra cost for the R7's is just not worth it for HPDE events. The GY 3R's are outstanding tires that provide pretty consistent grip over the course of a 25-30 minute track session unless the track temperatures are very high. You also have the ability to stay on the track if there is light rain with the GY's.

Manuals will be sought after more in the future for resale than auto's. Happened with 911's and other cars. |

I have the manual (1SE) love it - But I also have an 2022 that's now a 2023 A10 1LE ordered. If it ever gets here I will give my perspective then sell the one I'm less in love with. Having had a 21 GT500 and a 21 Mach one A10 at the same time (same tranny as the A10 ZL1) the 500 tranny was amazing, the A10 very good but not as good. I sold them both (couldn't pass up the whopping profit margins I got on both). Cars are cars, they come, they go, the more I have the more educated and experienced with all aspects I get. There will always be a better model, it's like chasing a Ghost, one minute it's here, the next it's there... They are all check boxes on my bucket list.
As far as Harleys go - if you go touring bagger then the answer is Road Glide hands down

Was there a problem understanding what I wrote - I know that - I was comparing the two DCT to 10 and having driven BOTH and OWNED both the A10 was so, so vs the DCT - DCT acts more like an Auto 6 speed is what I'm saying. So get the 6 speed if you can unless you care about drag racing ()
