Alignment frequency

I have a 2016 camaro ss that seems to need aligned more often than usual. I'd say every 5,000 miles or so it start pulling one way or the other. The owners manual does say it requires and alignment every 6k, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

What is spl? Sorry I’ve never been good at guessing three letters that stands for three words. Especially with my dyslexia.

Rear toe and rear camber bolts are one time use Torque To Yield (TTY). Every time a TTY bolt is tightened then loosened to spec it must be replaced.

The SPL toe rod with lockout will guarantee the toe never moves and it will make for easier adjustments.

Good luck finding a competent shop.

SPL Toe Arms are one of the few mods I've done to my car. They're absolutely worth it if you track the car.

With the stock eccentric toe arms, my rear toe was off after every event. I was getting an alignment before EVERY event.

Since doing the SPL Toe Arms, I've done four events (12 track days) on the car. Just took her for an alignment today in preparation for my next event -- I figured five events on one alignment would be pushing it. My alignment guy knocked some $$ off the typical price since he said the alignment was pretty spot on, just minor toe adjustments on all four corners (I think that's inevitable after a bunch of track days!)

The previous alignments probably didn't replace the rear bolts and/or didn't tighten them enough. Torque specs and bolt part numbers are here: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=502324

I have mine checked yearly and it's never 100% in the previous settings.
