LGX Fuel Injectors
Hello,
can anyone tell me about the injectors on the LGX engine. On the market I can find 2 models with the part numbers 12647362 and 12692884. The former are marked with the letters FN and the latter with FL. Are the two really different or are they just compatible part numbers from different manufacturers? Can anyone comment on this here? Hey Mark, to the forums. You have excellent taste in automobiles, congrats on your 2LT Very special model year, too.
The online Chevy catalog that many online parts sale sites use appears to suggest that 12692884 supersedes 12647362, but both should fit your car just fine. CA emissions is a hot potato you fortunately don't need to deal with in Germany.

Hi Guys.
I was able to find out that FN and FL stand for different injection patterns. FN stands for "Fuel Stratified Injection". These injectors are designed to inject fuel into the combustion chamber in a fine mist for better and more efficient combustion. FL stands for "Fuel Lifter." These injectors are conventional fuel injectors that inject fuel directly into the chamber. It is important to use the correct injectors for the type of engine to ensure optimal performance and fuel efficiency. I have since been able to purchase and install the correct nozzle from Rockauto. |

Does anyone know a good high flow option for LGX? I've installed an Edelbrock charger and it looks like there's a shortage of fuel (although I'm in the middle of investigation still). I've replaced the LPFP with the one from ZL1, so it's 99% not it and HPFP should handle 500HP no problem
