Color Matching Key Fobs

Did my own project today of painting my key fob on my 6th gen. Came out pretty good. Maybe you'd like to give it a try. Check it out.

Cool looking. Might try when I'm no longer trading up.

I prefer a key fob cover. The material is so soft.

I personally like the smooth gloss feel of the paint versus the grippy rubber texture and the possibility of it getting caught on stuff and making it a little bulkier and tearing. But to each their own. Those are cool covers!

Maybe a little bit of an accent color would look cool and would be a way to tie the FOB more visually to the specific car, but I'm not sure I am onboard with spraying the entire thing. I've never been a big fan of color matching exteriors with interiors, including interior accessories. As others said, a cover would be better since it can just be taken off if you don't like it. Otherwise, you'd need to pay upward of $100 to get a replacement and have it reprogrammed if you change your mind.
