Just make your camaro 10000000000rwhp so we will never be second to no one!

But if you bought a C7 you would be inferior to a Bugatti

Don't get me wrong, I am very happy with the unveiling of the Corvette for what is coming in the new, as well as excited. As oklapike mentioned, that what they develope in the new Vette will surely be seen in some form of manner in the 6th Gen Camaro, and that gives me such a Grinch grin to see what the Camaro still can possibly do in the future. I do realize and fully understand that the markets between the Camaro and Corvette differ from each other completely. I am just saying it was nice to have the focus on use, but oh well, I enjoyed it as much as I could.

With how the camaro came out in 2010 with the new body style, and with the transformer movie having it in the movie i think the camaro will never get boring to people or anything like that, compared to a car thats like 20+ grand yea it will always be put on the back burner, but! the love will never die!

Corvette and Camaro totally different cars with a fairly different customer base. Corvette will always be #1 for Chevrolet. I have no problem with this.

Completely different cars and unfair to compare one to the other. Both are great cars in their own way and I speak from experience. I've owned several Corvettes and still have one and I have owned several Camaros and still have one.

The C6 Z06 and ZR1 already did what you said, the C7 just continues it

You're ridiculous, not at all.

Hoping they do some rear body work for the Z06 though otherwise I'm not gonna meet my personal goal of owning one before 40.

The OP seems like just came in to this planet , it's just the way it is .
And it's exactly the way GM , and all the others manufactures ( not only in the automobile industry ) play their cards ,innovation , style , design etc .
Everybody in business do exactly that , and the OP is playing into what they expect/want , so they can sell whatever they build
The name of the game is $$$$$$.

Totally different kind of car. New Vette = more better trickle down for the 6th gen. Possibly even late model 5th gens.

The Corvette has always been Chevrolet's flagship car, as long as it's in production that won't change.

As for wanting one... who wouldn't? It's a beautiful car. Obviously if I had the funds a C7 would be in my driveway. Actually if I had the funds, I'd build a garage. Then I'd have a C7 AND my 5th gen in it!
