Las Cruce, NM/El Paso, TX Chapter Gathering

CAMARO5 EP/LC LUNCHEON & CRUISE
-SATURDAY, JANUARY 25th, 2013-

Hey there everyone, for those of you in the local borderlands area of Las Cruces, NM & El Paso, TX, we, Camaro5 EP/LC Chapter, will be having a cruise and luncheon out at Old Mesilla, NM on Saturday, January 25th at La Posta. We will be meeting at the Mesilla Town Square at 1:30PM so we can talk shop and all enthusiasm and passion related to all Camaro and things that go "VROOM!" while we wait for our reservations that will set up at 2PM. If you have not eaten at La Posta, it's some very good local mexican food that has big dining areas that have been able to accommodate a few of our gatherings before when we have driven in with 8 people to 25 mmbers in one sitting.

As some of you may already know that have unfortunately known me for the past 3 years, I like to go for long drives in my Camaro whenever I have the chance...or have the money for the gas. So for those that would like to join us from El Paso, a few of us will meet at a later determined location in Las Cruces at 11:30AM and drive up to the west side of El Paso so we can meet at Transmountain at around 12:30PM and then take the old highway (HWY 28) from Transmountain all the way to Old Mesilla where we can meet with everyone that just wish to meet at Las Cruces for lunch.

Afterwards we will continue our day and show off the cars by driving through Las Cruces and end at either Caliche's Frozen Custard or one of the local Sonic's to enjoy some root beer floats or delicous frosty treats of your choosing. Alright everyone, here is the itinerary for Saturday's Camaro Gathering.

11:45AM - Meet at the Pic Quick on University Ave. & Don Roser Dr.
12:00PM - Depart for El Paso
12:30PM - Arrive/Meet on Eastside of Transmountain
12:45PM - Depart for cruise to Old Mesilla

• Take Transmountain (aka 375) West till we hit Canutillo
• Go Northbound on Hwy 20 (Doniphan) till we hit the next stop light which should be Canutillo La Union Ave./La Mesa Ave.
• Take a right going Westbound until we hit Hwy 28/McNutt Rd. Junction.
• Take right going Northbound all the way til we run into La Mesa for way stop.
• Take a left heading Westbound continuing on Hwy 28 which will drive us throuh La Mesa, San Miguel and Stahman Farms and lead us into Old Mesilla.

1:30PM - Arrive in Old Mesilla
2:00PM - Lunch at La Posta
3:30PM - Drive to Caliche's on Roadrunner Ave. on Eastside of Las Cruces.
4:00PM - Continuing of other shenanigans if wished, lol. (movies, brewery, etc.)
