Billy Boat Exhaust
I'm not finding much on this, but it looks high quality. The videos indicate zero rasp and zero drone. Does anyone have any experience with BB?
I've got a little while before I purchase an exhaust system. I'm really into the Borla S-Type but super curious about billy boat. Last edited by Aperretta; 06-29-2018 at 11:39 AM. |

I’ve been wondering the same. Sounds good from their YouTube videos. Seems like it would be fairly loud too.

I’m probably going to give them a call tomorrow and see what they have to say. From what I see/hear online and YouTube, it looks super high quality and sounds great. It’s weird that there is practically nothing in these forums when I search.

I may switch to BB. My Borla NPP has had issues for months.

I wonder why they don't have more pics and videos? Did it just come out or something?

I spoke with Mike at Billy Boat a couple of weeks ago, but haven't been too active on the forums lately. They don't seem to have much presence in the Camaro community at this point, but are well known with the vette community. Each system is hand built to order and is 3" all the way back. Even the valves are full diameter. I like that the system is complete from the secondary cats (it removes secondaries).
I like the way it sounds on the video more than the other systems, but have yet to hear anything aftermarket in person. Another thing to note is that the car in the video has BB headers, which will affect the sound. I wish there were more sound clips or any feedback from buyers. I am leaning towards this system because of the attention that they invest on each system and it looks like the quality is top notch. The 3" modular design is also attractive and seems more complete than a borla (for not much more $$$). It's a bit of a risk though, since no one else has given them a try. |

yeah im looking into cat back first and then later maybe going all the way..
I spoke them as well and they are claiming 15 whp on the cat back im sure that's possible considering 3" all the way, full diameter valves and no secondary cats... I just want to hear all the modes.... and just cat back vs full system |
