Can you share your dyno numbers and type of dyno?

950 sounds pretty low for your pass, but hey 950 is pretty stellar no matter how fast you run. Your tune is the key, tranny is right on and the car leaves great with 1.30 plus 60' times.

I'd love to see that car line up next to my friend's new Demon. That would be freaking hilarious. It would twist his head around in a 360* twist. I think that's the quickest new Camaro I've seen.

Like i said idk exactly what it made at the time of that 8.84 pass cuz we had a degree or degree and a half more timing in it during that pass than when we made 945 on the dyno. But then again the 8.84 pass was a hot lap and had coolant temps at 200+ and iat around 150 and we had some belt slip so it made 23 lbs most the way

CONGRATS MAN WAY TO GO !!I remember my first 8 second time slip in my first gen camaro , about 14 years ago 8.79 at 149-150 something . A 540 Big block with dart heads and a single stage bigshot plate. Made 860 HP at the crank without nitrous in a 3,000 lb car .

Get that belt slip fixed and it will run quicker. Great job Kevin.

You guys got me beat.
Back in the day (1980s), (when I was very poor), my very 1st Gen1 car we ran a N/A Single Carb 468cid (fed with Oval Port Heads), in a 3200lb street car on 10in radials and went 10.50's with a TH400. No we didn't squeeze it either!!! |

The heads are not ported. Still stock. The cam is only 220s on the intake duration. We shift at 7300.
If we can iron what few little bugs we had out, and get a cooked down glory run, 70s are possible. |
