I'm sure it's on the original tires but other than that I don't see any problems until I run thru it with a fine tooth comb. Prices on these are hard to pin down and I know they are worth whatever someone is willing to pay. I saw one a couple of weeks ago with 23k miles listed for $37,500, I decided to sleep on that one overnight and next day it was sold. Anyone care to offer any advice or specific things to look for on this car? I see others listed for as high as $60k but I doubt they really expect to get that.
Car I'm looking at is a hardtop, 2ss, M6, NPP exhaust, beyond that I don't know. I do like the look of the hardtop roof line.
Is that the one in Carmax? looks great. Just one piece of advice... I picked up my 2017 with 17k miles in october. That low mileage meant that it was stored most of the time and not driven. Turns out it had rodent damage behind the front bumper. Found old walnuts there and chewed wires. Make sure you inspect it really good, but go for it! I used to have a V6 hot wheels and loved it

How in the world are we debating the Hot Wheels Edition without pics of this epic masterpiece?

Love it as a convertible!

Yes it is. I go to look at it on Monday and if all is well I'll drive it home. I have the build sheet already from GM Heritage. This car is a 2 owner that spent its first couple of years in New Mexico and then moved to New Jersey. It only has 5400 miles on it so I'm hoping it has never seen salt. I intend to drive it but I don't put on many miles. I'll go over it with a fine tooth comb and a good test drive but hopefully it all checks out. I already have a vette gathering dust in the garage, it's time for a fun car that I actually drive! I'm not sure I understand Carmax's pricing, it's like they place no value on the HWSE as this is priced like any other 2SS they are currently selling.

Be very careful with your inspection of the underside, the only way this car hasn't seen salt in NJ (especially up north) is if it was never, ever driven from early December to late April. And, if it lived near the ocean, say, around Atlantic City, there's that constant salty mist, although it's indeed a low mileage car, so hopefully no damage just yet.

On a more lighthearted note, I tried a 2018 Hot Wheels edition, it looked fantastic inside and outside, and it's basically a 2SS, so it drives very well and has all the amenities, Good luck, hope this one turns out to be the car for you

It was only a $5,000 package when new. On the used market a package on a car that cost $5,000 when new isn’t going to make the used car’s value go up by $5,000. It will add a bit of value but nothing near the initial investment in the package.

Ohhh I see you have an SGM... I had one and there are a few hundred posts on the SGM forum from me Haha. Also, you are right that they dont care about special editions. Theirs is a very specific business model, and I myself, love them and would totally buy another car from them.

Well it all worked out, I did get the Camaro on Monday. It has rained everyday since then it seems but I washed it once anyway. Love it so far, it's like new only 5489 miles when I bought it. I did get it on a lift at Carmax and it's very clean underneath. Interior is flawless and it's a blast to drive. 2SS, M6, NPP, no sunroof, no mag ride which is fine with me. Still has the OEM runflats which will have to go sooner than later. I'm not used to all the tech in this car but starting to get the hang of it. I would post a pic but still need to figure that out.

Outside of Camaro loyalist / fanboys, it's just a Camaro to 95% of the population hence it's treated as such. Sometimes you get a good deal (buying), sometimes you don't (selling).

I went through that when I sold my 50th Anniv 2SS M6 Convertible, which was one of ~225 built with that combo.

Good luck with the car.

Also, CarMax used to have one of the best extended warranties available in terms of cost / coverage. When we got my wife's Audi, it was 6/100 for something along the lines of $2k. Might be worth looking into.

Thanks but I passed on the extended warranty, I am not a fan of them. They wanted $2100 for 5 years, 75k miles.
