Yep, me too. I've already purchased black leather w/ grey stitching knee bolsters, Sho-n-Go front license plate bracket, and a black rear license plate frame with silver "Camaro" and red "SS" as well as an extra set of stock 5-spoke wheels in brilliant silver to mount all-season or road course tires, but I'm picking those up on Saturday. Presents under the tree, in a sense.

Ordered myself some of the car cleaning products such as the polish and seal I'll be using. Going to order the rest of the stuff later on in the week. I have the GM front splitter on the way which I'll be putting on the car the moment it arrives. I'm also debating on ordering that Kalahari trim kit to sort of liven up my all black interior.
Besides that I plan on staying stock for a bit while I get used to the car.. We'll see tho lol.

I modded my '02 Z28 but that sort of got modding out of my system. My '14 is completely stock except for the CAGS harness to eliminate the skip-shift feature. I have no plans as well with my '17, keeping her completely stock, mechanically speaking.

I plan to do the same with only just a few cosmetic mods like the front fascia and blacked out tail lamps. I mainly want to see how my neighbors react to how loud the car is. I leave for work sometimes as early as 2am and the neighborhood as it is now is pretty quiet lol.

Just saw and drove next to a blacked out 2SS on my way home from the gym. Man, the tail lamps look sooooo GOOD at night. The car sounded awesome too...
The 25th feels much farther away now

If it doesn't improve performance in some way I'm not putting it on my Camaro. I love they way they look stock so if I'm tacking on a splitter or side runners or whatever, it better improve handling, power, etc. or it's not going on as it will just be "dead weight" to me.

I'm hoping the splitter actually helps me out on the track. This will be my first performance car so you can be damn sure I'll be hitting up the track for some fun once I'm past the break in and more comfortable with the car... That and I just love the way it looks so it's a win/win lol.
The car really does look amazing stock tho, I agree. I still keep replaying my test drive in my head over and over. It was awesome. Love how comfy and great looking the interior was even for the 1SS.

I've driven 2, a 2SS and a 1SS, and loved them both. I decided after much that I wanted an SS but, like you, wanted to take it to the road courses around here and learn how to really drive it. I then decided to get a 1SS for that reason, the last 2 Camaros I've owned were loaded V8's, an 02 Z28 and a 14 2SS. I really don't needs fancy lights and leather or heated and cooled seats to go faster. It's like I saw in a review of the new Camaro, the guy is in a 1SS and says, "It's everything you need and none of the BS you don't!". So, I decided to get a 1SS and save about 5 grand.

I take that back, there is one cosmetic item I am getting and that's the RZ9 "SEMA" grille.

I guess I should join in, with another dealer story.
I placed an order on 5/28 with my local dealer, order sat at 1100 until today...when I canceled it. When I joined the forum and said that I placed an order, there where a couple that immediately told me to call Becky. They were right. So I did yesterday. Lo and behold, she had a H50 with a tpw of (guess), so I need that car. After working out a few details with her via the phone and emails. Here I am, waiting with the rest of you cats. Heath
