That's a good deal. My buddy's 15 is growing on me after he tinted out his taillights. I'm still not in love with the car, but it's a good overall vehicle.

The Gen6 1SS has RS as standard where if my memory is right the Gen5 has the RS as an option, I think for $1200.

Ouch, compared to the Mustang the Camaro is going to cost a few K more. For me, the v8 is pretty much out of the picture due to price. Will prob aim my sites on a 1lt/RS or 2lt/RS depending on the price. Hopefully chevy unveils the remainder of the online configuration so we can all build our car and get a hard number as to the cost of the car.

That is a very good point there and does this include destination fee?

Just priced out pretty sweet GT PP for $37,290. This is no longer a cut and dry decision.

Now I'm curious on the price of the 2SS. Not a fan of the price point on the 1SS so I'm preparing myself for disappointment lol

I wonder if this includes destination or not? GM tends to include it when they advertise pricing (but not always) while most others conveniently forget to include that mandatory charge.

I bet thats the price for the 4 cylinder & they'll announce the cost of the V6 upgrade when they dish out the full pricing details.

That is a good point. Take that away and the price is very close to the ~1500 extra that most people were expecting. It doesn't change the fact that its 3 grand more than the outgoing car though.

Wonder how much the upgrade to the V6 will be from the turbo 4. Any ballpark estimates?

A bit disappointing, especially no 2SS pricing, or 'vert pricing... Let's hope performance increases are worthy of the price increase in peoples minds.

And yeah, 0% from Ford is very enticing. I priced out a GT PP convertible with Xplan pricing and was very happy with the costs... I just *REALLY* like the looks of the 2SS 'vert, enough for me to hold out til next spring... maybe...

At this point and at this pricing, they better have hit those weight figures.

Yes, that's different than all the pricing guides, and even GMs online tools... maybe just a misprint?

Hard to say, I think this will be the only car in the entire GM fleet where they'll have the V6 as a stand alone upgrade over the 2.0 turbo. Certainly nothing else in the Chevy lineup. Plus nothing else has that particular V6 at the moment
