2012 2LS halo conversion
Just bought my first Camaro. 2 days old! wicked excited and awesome. However, I have been looking into swaping out the stock headlights (that come with the 2LS 2012) with Halo style headlights. I was told that it is not as easy as you would think (I.E. they dont just bolt in) and that you have to splice wires, etc. Is this true?
Anyone out there do this? recommendations? tl;dr How hard to convert stock headlights to Halo headlights in a 2LS 2012 |

If you are talking about the eagle eye or rs head lights they do bolt in. You will need to tap into the psarking lights to power the halos.

It's an easy swap. They bolt right in. Then you just need to get a harness from 2SSRS. No splicing wires. A ton of members have done this - lots of write ups in the DIY section

Yeah, you can get a harness to easily get them working and keep everything clean.

you can also use your factory headlights and do a projector conversion to them and all halos. this is a service i do as well as aac, i also build custom harnesses for your needs simple 3 wire hook ups

I know this is a super old post, but now I'm interested in doing this. Is it really simple enough that I could do it myself without s super technical, mechanics background? Is there anyone in Los Angeles that can do the install if it's too complex for me? Thanks!
