Hey guys. I figured I would post this here in case anyone in the Tampa or Central Florida area (he travels around the state occasionally too) were interested in getting some really great photos taken once they get their vehicle. Im in Port Orange and am seriously considering having professional photos taken of my SS when it arrives. I recently ordered a 2SS, Mosaic Black, adrenaline red int, auto, npp. mrc, 6 piston brembo brake upgrade, low gloss 5 spoke black wheels, black bow ties and SS wheel caps, 8' my link w/nav. I have a few other mods in mind. Carbon fiber to replace plastic trim bits on the interior. Might remove the bow ties for a cleaner look and dress up the engine compartment. In due time add some hp and torque.

Hey Central Florida, I'm looking for a professional detail for a new car (2SS) when it's delivered. I am thinking about treating the paint with cquartz or a similar product. This is above and beyond a mobile wash and wax service. Does anyone have a good detailer they would recommend for that kind of thing?
BTW - I am in Port Orange, near Daytona but willing to travel within reason.

On a side note, seems like with in a few months there will be about three of four in the Daytona area with SS's.

Personally only one I found to do the CQuartz is in orlando at $1200-1500. Just did not make sense to me. I think it is a great product but not willing to get raped over it.

Ouch...that's a lot of labor costs right there.

What product did you end up using again? I know you said you paid a lot less...

I ended up using a product from a local in Saint augustine called Simix. So far after a month really good results. I rate it similar to Car Pro Hydro2. You spray it on then activate with the pressure of the water coming out of your hose. You have to apply it every 6 months but for $350 for paint correction, clay bar, detail and application then $100 every 6 months to reapply, I get about 6 years worth of maintenance for the same price. For me just the way I went.
