I have AWE Touring using the ARH 3" long tubes with cats, yes she barks. Look ahead to what future mods you may go with, headers make a difference.

That's why I got the street mbrp system with mufflers and resonators....prepping for the headers....probably do cats with the long tubes....

Define best? Best at increasing sound level without increasing drone? Best at being able to go from stock like sound levels to a race car? Best at keeping the Muscle car deep sound or more of an exotic sound?

Imo with no Bias,

The AWE touring sounds the "Best". Problem is that you give up the NPP function. If AWE made a NPP exhaust I think that would hands down be the "Best".

I like the Corsa NPP because it is truly a Mild to Wild exhaust. With the valves closed it's damn near like stock. Open the valves and it's damn near like open headers. Overall sound is good but not the "Best".

The Borla S type sounds good but there is about half the difference vs the Corse between open and closed. Meaning the valve closed mode is a bit louder.

Imo everything on the market has some trade-offs. You just have to figure out which exhaust checks your boxes.

Pretty sure AWE themselves already answered this question and why they won't do it.

Good points! That's why I chose the Flowmaster American Thunder Axle-Back exhaust. I know there good exhaust systems out there but I like the sound the Flowmaster puts out, like that I can still use NPP, etc...but that's just me. Borla, Corsa, and AWE are not for me...if others like it..GREAT! Nothing wrong with that!. In the end, YOU are the owner and YOU know what you like...I personally don't think you can go wrong with any of them that are bolted up to a Camaro!

Stainless Works has several exhaust systems that might work for you! Pricey but well made.

This was a very close second choice if the Flowmaster didn't work out! I agree with you!

+1 on stainless works. I feel it used to be more popular a few years back. I don't hear much about it anymore for some reason.

"Best" is as subjective as, do you prefer to hear Am or Em?

My biggest issue with aftermarket exhaust is the giant void they leave under the car. Id probably want to fab up a plate to cover the hole left by the suitcase stock exhaust

Anyway, i live in a state with a stupidly strict inspection so im staying stock

Then again. I might not even register my car this year until my town fixes the damn road. I have a trailer, so maybe its time for new pipes
