Appreciate the fast response. Irritating as hell since I just got a 60 day approval with my credit union. Would’ve held off if I knew GM was gonna harpoon me like this. Will the supply chain issues never end?? 😡😡

I've waited for this day since I placing a deposit in February 2022. For 6.5 months my order sat at 1100 status. Today, out of the blue, my dealer called to inform me the order was accepted. As a bonus, I got a production week 12/12.

The whole process has taken so long that getting the news today was anticlimactic. I am glad the order is finally moving and it means I am one step closer to the day of owning my first ever sports car. I just wish I were more excited. Maybe my excitement meter will improve when I get the call to come pick up the car.

Its crazy seeing how long it has been taking everyone to get a car delivered.. I was not expecting mine to show up until like April because of everyone's experiences..

Car showed up at the dealership last Thursday.. Not even 3 months from order to delivery... Its thrown me for a loop because i was hoping to get it after winter.. Not as its just starting.

Yea, my TPW is 11/28 and my dealer said it’s likely to be delivered before Christmas. That’s awesome, but almost guaranteed to have snow on the ground at my house. I’m not sure how I’ll get it here if it is actually delivered that fast. I really don’t want to drive it in inclement weather or on salty roads. At this point, I’m kind of hoping for shipping delays.

Mine is set yo be built week of 11/28 as well, my dealer did state almost the same, they think the week before or week after Christmas for delivery. I live in the midwest (STL Metro area) hopefully weather stays decent, but honestly it can change drastically in the matter of hours here. 2 weeks ago we had 6" of snow, today will be 60 degrees ....go figure.

Dealers still dont know how long it takes. Mine told me my order would take 3-4 months. I chuckled and told him I am here for the long haul. My car is built but if it gets shipped right away, I will be shocked.

I feel ya. My TPW is 12/12. It'll be a minor miracle if I get it before February. Like I said, in an earlier post. I'll get excited after I get a call telling me it arrived at the dealer with any damage.

My guess is they have somewhat of idea, since they deal with orders all the time now. They told me things have been moving better across the whole GM line. If you look at recent members from time to allocation - delivery wait times have got a lot shorter (Status 1100 pre allocation is the longest wait it seems and constraints)

My salesman looks to me for updates on my car. lol They sell multiple cars built in different locations. They are kept in the dark from whats going on. I had the first allocation for a 2SS1LE so I dont think they are selling enough to know a pattern.

I think they cant or maybe they can before the sell. I had a friend that bought a Canadian Jeep here and the warranty was void.

Really seems odd, they have a computer system to get all the info.

the issues constraints but IMO its all BS just like gas prices right now.

all these company's are showing record profits.

CHEVY RECORD PROFITS. 3rd QTR 41.9 BILLION

Covid eliminated the middle man and jobs across the board. There's no reason for any auto manufacture to produce an abundance of vehicles that need to be discounted to get them off the lot. Just keep premium builds on constraint and blame chip shortages moving forward. Have your customer custom order a vehicle and only produce what's needed every 6-9 months. This will ensure record breaking sales every QTR as time goes forward.

Looks like EV will be doing the same with Lithium/Copper/Nickel "shortages" as well.

When you make 41.9 Billion in a QTR why make any changes to your current business model?
