Flex Fuel Sensor Options & JMS Powermax

I’m finishing up my parts list for my build & was looking at picking up either the DSX flex fuel kit or the Lethal garage kit. Both use oem parts and look like great kits. Any advantage of one over the other? I kind of like how the Lethal hides the sensor behind the supercharger.

Second question. Would I benefit from running or will need to run the JMS Powermax? Might be a better question for the tuner. More than likely it will be tuned by Ted.
I’ll be running CSP 2” headers with GESI gen II ultra cats, regular rotofab intake, Soler 91mm throttle body, awe catback, flex fuel, new plugs. Currently running the Soler throttle controller

Thanks for any info

I've had zero issues out of my JMS setup that Ted tuned for me. If you're going flex fuel you will certainly need one or the other. I'm not familiar with the DSX aux system, but I did the install of my JMS and it's worked like a champ from day one.

Ted will probably recommend the DSX flex fuel kit along with the JMS voltage booster for low side fuel pressure stability. Zero issues on my setup as well, fuel pressures are fine, tested up to E60. (For the record, this is an SS, not a ZL1, so there's that.)

I am a proponent of the JMS FuelMax, I have one installed and it does the job! No matter what your HP fuel requirements are it would never "hurt" to have one installed.

I haven't messed with flex fuel since it is not available in my area, surprised with your minor amounts of modding that the stock ZL1 fuel system can't handle a higher ethanol content fuel. I will follow and learn something

I'm still learning zl1's, I came from an ss. I believe you can run up to e50 or so with stock fuel system with booster and flex fuel on zl1. Might want to double check, but pretty sure

If you are not running aux. gauges, and you are not running straight E85, then I suggest considering the Advanced Fuel Dynamics Kit.... with Bluetooth and an APP to see your real-time blend.

I’ll be running a AEM X series gauge for Air/Fuel and probably a Banks gauge for E content

I’m sure he will. I’m going to give him a call and get his thoughts. I’ll probably be running between 40-50% E based on what I’ve been reading

Full e85 with JMS,BB HPFP, +30 injectors but I’m at Denver altitude (can run a little higher ethanol here).
