Terrible 60 foot car typically cuts 1.38-1.42 car also went lean I was having methanol issues and this was really the only decent pass. One other 9.97@142 where cut a 1.87 and went sideways at the line. Hit a good 60 and thy was a 9.60 pass. Still stock heads and stock cam. Current zl1 bolt on only record holder.

Great pass Lt4.I know how that sideways off the line feels. Center line and guard rail looks pretty close when that happens. When I went 5.99@119 in the 1/8th. I stayed in it and shouldn't have but felt like I could keep it off the center line and luckily it hooked when it shifted to 3rd. I feel for ya.

I've been turning them around but it's wearing me out too.

I think it would have been quicker if I could have kept it in the groove. It was pretty cool so the groove was pretty narrow. Thanks Stefano, you guys are doing great with the 2650s. Wait till you do a full build with one. I'm still running bone stock heads with just valve springs and a good set of heads would really wake it up some more.

Yea thanks not bad for a bolt on only car. Would have been a 9.55-9.60 had it hooked. It was also .90 so quite lean giving up a little more. I’m sure I make a whole bunch of heads and cam cars nervous and make them wonder how my stock stuff does so well. I’ll have it squared away next time and think I can rival the 9.50 heads and cam stock blower record Justin Keith holds.

Why does it turn it sideways when it taken straight up with the phone. Mine have been like that also. Merc is getting old and can't see well so we need to help him as much as possible. Haha
