Ive watched the video for Borla Atak exhaust and it sounds great in the video. Was just wondering what it sounds like for real. Tell me what ya think.

I've heard a few and I really think it sounds pretty dam good, I wish I could of got one for my car , V6. Had to go with the Borland S Type. Sounds good & great when you open it up.

If I had a V8, it's the exhaust I would get.

I have the Borla Atak catback exhaust and it is a night and day difference compared to stock. I researched all the brands when I decided on these back in 2012. The quality, loudness and the company reputation made my final decision. I have a V8, but I would assume the V6 would sound equally as good.

If you want to add even more sound, go with Solo high flow cats. Check out the small clip of my car in the link below. This is with the Borla Atak catback and Solo high flow cats ;

Preferably a LFX so I can know what it will sound like pretty much stock ??
This can be an option that look quite reasonable to get.

How do the Borla's do on drone?

I've got Flowmasters and have never had a drone issue. When I added the headers and high flow cats, I had a bit of drone but it seems to have gone away (maybe the steel settling in?)...

It is one of the louder systems but it has a higher tone than most and tends to be raspy. It is a 2.5" system rather than 3".

Never encountered any drone with the ATAK or Touring, but the S-Type does have some drone.

Not sure if it was a LFX, but I think someone in the Texas marketplace had a V6 ( I think, could be wrong though ) and was selling the ATAK they modified for a V6. It just takes a muffler shop to do the modification really to get it to work.

I have a L99 and was looking at the ATAK but got a Cherry Bomb Extremem instead. I love it. It does drone though as will the Borla.

I have the Attak mufflers on my SS M6,I did have the SLP loudmouth installed but after I put in the resonator deleted X-pipe it was way too loud, I already had Borla headers and JBA high flow cats before the X-pipe was installed.The way my system is the Attak mufflers have a deep growl, bark @ WOT and cruise with no raspy or drone problems.

I have the atak exhaust plus the borla xr1 long tube headers and it sounds awesome a real nice rumble at idle and very aggressive sound when i get on it
