Yes sir, unless we get enough to split them.

Most of these folks have been doing autoX and we only had 3 I4 and 4 V6 cars running last year.

Would like to see at least 8 cars in each class, but can be flexible based on who shows up and mix/match these for the best competition.

That's kind of rough.. the i4s in those temps are going to destroy the NA V6 cars.. there is literally no incentive to come I am sure the fully built ZZP car will be there might as well hand out the trophy's as they come through the gate. I would come for show and drag but we all know that's near impossible to do. There was also more then 4 V6 cars there was only 4 in unlimited. Sorry this is disappointing ☹️

....and you haven't given me one suggestion to fix it,,,

Your sig says your the record holder. Kind of surprises me you don't want to run a 4 cylinder car and who knows if ZZP will even be there and you already don't want to run them either.

Why not just leave it as it was ? Didn't realize it was a problem to be fixed. Either way I've only been once and I'm sure I'm the only one that will post about it as like you said just not many of us. But there will probably be even less if it's setup like this.

I removed I4 from your class as it's not needed, but I need to be inclusive of everyone and there were only 3 I4s running last year.
They can run with the bolt-on V6 class.

It's not even about me as I said earlier the NA guys don't have a chance in that summer heat vs the i4 cars As far as my feelings go you build yourself up to go against specific people just a bit of a derail is all. It is a fest after all meant for fun and I do realized that I was just stating it's dissapointing.

Also maybe I posted a bit to quickly before processing it wasn't trying to stir anything up and you have my apologies for that. I just in honestly feel one of the things that makes the event great is getting to race others that have similar builds. I'll leave it at that you are right there isn't enough of us to even stress about it.

Actually once I read it... it didn't make sense. The I4 was a copy/paste error and shouldn't have been there for class #6 anyway so there is no change to your class from last year. The CamaroFest.org website had it listed correctly.

One of the "fixes" this year was to streamline the list of classes to open things up for more Open test and tune runs and create some additional grudge match races and exhibition races at the end.

The modified class is the same way. Theres 6 or so heavy hitters and the other 25+ in the class has slim to no chance but we race anyway for fun and grudge. Also to see how we all stack up against one another. Like MLee said hes looking to split the class because for one we have enough to do it. You 6 and 4 peeps come and support your class and the powers that be will see what can be done to make it better.

The air compressor was turned off and there was no one around

The v6 class do have a few people that run nitrous which does balance a lot of it out and make for some great matches. Like Bo said most of the people in modified don’t stand a chance so that’s why they created the bolt on class for tighter matches. I think this will work out well getting rid of some classes to open up grudge racing which a lot of people asked for a while now.

Let's do a grudge match

I don’t know about the other but seems v8 modified is the toughest class unless you are one those top 6 consistently running low to mid 10s. Can’t just throw more boost or nitrous at a NA car
