Because right now Whipple is has some cars putting down crazy big Hp numbers on a dyno. . .you are talking about the kind of performance someone gets with a blower and no other mods (high 10’s). I like to poke my man @Ricco because he was at 850whp and was the reason I had to make changes to go over 800whp. He picked a path that generated better dyno numbers with alky. . .and the thread is all about fuel.

Which takes us back to the original question...how about adding alky injection for the OP’s Christmas list. . .or as @oldman just identified, maybe higher flowing injectors.

don't know and would not be surprised they send me a note saying out of stock you need to wait. LOL. One good thing about my hobby, is between me and the kids we have a lot of projects so if this takes a while, I should have ordered it this summer.

Any idea on this new 8.2 mm lift?

When do you need the big bore pump? Are you saying you would do that instead of just adding the voltage booster? What power level are you planning on? North of 850whp?

My goal is 700 RWHP on E85, I figure bigbore, LT4 injectors, and 32% lobe may just about do it.

lowside, I'm going with a second fuel line and pump. It is just me, but I never liked the boost a pump idea. now a second pump that turns on at 2 PSI, to me, that is a 10 year solution...

Others say it can't do 700 rwhp as measure on a dynojet. Well; I'm not against 8 point meth on my MSD.. but that is the next engine... say summer?

Shout out to DSX tuning has come thru to, list price but free two day!! The also have the better and more logical aux fuel setup IMO, just come on as two PSI shut off when it drops back down, pump last a long time... Quality of course is the best in the business.

Not sure on the details about the 8.2mm lift...perhaps it has something to due with making the new version of the LPE pump compatible with bigger fuel lobes?

look forward to hearing your impressions on the DSX. I am still deciding on what I want to do for the low side.

Not sure why anyone would say you can’t get to 700whp, especially on a dynojet...I got to that plateau with only 8psi. If you were shooting for 700wtq, maybe that would be a challenge, but on a Procharger, hitting a peak hp number...no problem.

You can easily make that happen and you won’t come close to pushing the LT4 fuel system at that level. ...I put the vote in for no problems at all. Maybe you will need 10-12psi...but that will be easy on the system you are building because you will only hit the peak boost right at the top of your RPM range, so figure you will hit your peak on the dyno, but normally running on the street, you will be running way less boost...sounds like a recipe for great longevity and a big HP number and a ton of fun.

I just checked on the FIC website and it looks like we can pick up the injectors in Black Friday with a 20% discount, about $2800...that sounds pretty compelling.

How do they compare with the Lingenfelter's? FIC are modified stock? where as Lingenfelter's are new larger sized? Is that the difference?
