Back to back thrill rides in Hellcat and ZL1 1LE

Went to the Barrett Jackson auto auction yesterday at the Mohegan Sun Casino in CT. As always, Ford, Dodge, and Chevy were offering thrill rides. I rode in a Challenger Hellcat first and then a ZL1 1LE right afterwards.

Both have brutal acceleration of course. The Hellcat is much more out of control which is actually more fun as a passenger. The driver got on the gas from 10 mph or so rounding the entrance turn and had to modulate the throttle to avoid whipping completely around. The tires were spinning even after he straightened it out. The ZL1 was much less drama. It gripped hard from the beginning and there was very little tire spin.

i took those rides when Barrett Jackson was here in palm beach. drifting in the Hellcat was a hoot.
