Does your GF/wife or significant other drive the zl1

Soooo does your wife/gf/significant other drive your car? Only when you’re in the car? Only highways? Any rules?

Yes. 100 percent of the time. She should enjoy the blessings as well. My rules are stay away from 18 wheelers and their rock rooster tails, and don’t drag ass getting in the car (don’t wrinkle my leather), have it in snow mode. 3 easy rules.

Fortunately for me she prefers SUVs almost exclusively, so she wont drive mine very often, but its totally up to her. She has the same access to the keys as i do, with no rules. If she wants to drive she can. The only thing i asked was to wait until i break the car in.

I wish mine would, but she hates it. She rarely even rides in it, much less drive.

I won't say my wife hates it, but my '17 ZL1 is certainly not her favorite car.

I had three 5th gen Camaro convertibles before my 6 gen ZL1 coupe. She loved riding in each one of them, especially with the top down.

She was so upset that I was trading in my '13 ZL1 convertible for the '17 coupe that I had to send her home from the dealer. As for me, I'll never own another convertible again.

As far as driving, she knows how to drive a stick but has no desire to my ZL1. I've had four Camaros, 1 automatic and 3 manuals, she's never wanted to drive any of them. Just likes to ride...

First, my wife can't drive a manual and doesn't want to learn. I tried to teach my middle daughter how to drive a manual. She did very well but didn't want to stick with it; this generation just doesn't get it.

Anyway, back to the wife, she's in to SUVs and has only been in the ZL1 only once. I think she liked my 370Z better; go figure.
