Correct. Just let some adhesive remover soak. The bowtie was a pain to take off. The small SS is cake.

Well, I got it done this morning. Used a hair dryer on the rear bowtie for 3 or 4 minutes until I could tell it was loose then ran the dental floss behind it. Got it off with most of the adhesive but still used some 3M adhesive removal to clean it up. bajamoon, like you said the small SS was a ppeice of cake. The hardest part was making sure I got the new SS emblem on straight. Thanks for your help on this guys.

Here's my front SS emblem. I just really like the looks of them on my black car. These Sparks emblems are heavy duty and alot better quality than the plastic bowties!

I agree 100%. The look is amazing, the quality is fantastic, and I think it gives the car a whole new look. I just love them.

I am about to try this on my 2011, but it is black and am afraid of scratching the paint.

Does anyone know if the 2012s have the pins or just glue?

Just glue. ONLY the early 2010s have the pins.
