We also pulled the CAMARO off the fenders also, makes waxing a little easier

Just my .02 ..Emblem Pros has some of the nicest stuff that I have seen. Ebay can be good , but I have had a few not so good experiences on there. And EP will do custom stuff as well.

1LE

I just replaced my rear badge and it looks awesome. I didn't even need to apply heat. I used dental floss and workded it behind the logo and then used goobegone to remove the residue. Before I removed the logo I marked the right and lower edges with blue tape for aligning the new logo. I just need to know how to remove the grill logo bracket so I can change out that one too.

so many options i'm lost now...

a legitimate, beautiful 1/LE logo is 70 bucks online. I can do them on the sides where the CAMARO is, but that's 140 bucks do this.

Maybe/or/and I can rip off the chevy logo in the back, the SS symbol, and put in a 1/LE instead

Ultimately i'm going towards 1/LE on the sides and back, and leaving the chevy logo on the rear. IDK THEY ALL LOOK SO GOOD

Just a thought from a collision center owner:

if you are that worried about doing it yourself then take it to a local body shop (that you trust) and they would most likely do it for free. At most they would charge you a 1/2 hour labor. My shop takes care of customers like that all the time at no charge. It Has made for some great customer relationships. Especially the high end car customers.

Thanks hharis, too bad you aren't set in Arizona. The only thing I'd be worried about is aligning the new emblem perfectly straight or something. Might do what nvydvr did

I wish i was in AZ as well. I used to go to barrett jackson every year and really liked the Scottsdale atmosphere. Most shops would probably do it while you wait, and you could supervise

my method is warm it up, gently pry off with a soft plastic mud spreader, clean left over adhesive off with acrysolve or 3m adhesive remover. Hand Polish the area with mcquires crystal hand polish to assure it all looks perfect and no outline from dirt or wax residue.

Use masking tape to mark exact location of install. And to assure straight and level to body lines. Clean small area lightly with alcohol wipe. And stick em on. You only get one shot so the tape for template is a must
