The Z28 is way awesome but without creature comforts, it's a definite deal breaker for me. If HID and a radio were offered as options, then I would totally trade up to a Z28.

That's a joke right? Not a chance. They freakin ruined a hot car. Maybe they can fix it when the next gen comes out. Unless they scramble very quickly to right this wrong....

Those who know know, Those who don't know don't know they don't know..

It blows me away at how many Camaro fans on this site don't get what the Z/28 is.

Get your learn on!! As a Camaro fan you should be in the know..

That's right!
Ferrari F40 did not have "creature comforts" either.... it was for a reason.

This is one of the greatest Z's to ever be produced, this is a canyon carver not drag car, although I'm sure it will handle its own. Highly considering trading in the Dusk Edition for it, as long as the dealers don't slap a $10k mark up in it. It isn't for everyone due to lack of luxury, might have to let Mama drive the Grandsport instead.

The price they're going to ask for this, doesnt constitute for what you get. You're paying for the name basically and I think that's rather pathetic. Yes it's a track car but its also a car with extremely limited bells and whistles which is not worth the price they're going to ask for one unless they surprise me and charge 45k which won't happen.

I have already made a deal with my dealer to trade in my modded 2010 SS on their first Z28. Seems most people dont get the idea of a stripped out street legal road racer. Just as Porsche sells a stripped out GT3 as well as the Turbo, Chev will now have a Z28 for the hard core guy,or girl, and a ZL1 for the person who wants speed and creature comforts. This Z is exactly what I have been waiting for!

Fact is, a Z/28 is worth about as much as 3 of my cars and I only have one to trade... So I guess that makes my decision for me. I wish I could!

for me on this day this is a perfect fit.
The wife does not want to beat on her 1LE DD.
I truly enjoy just driving my ZL1 and have been thinking about building a track day specific car.this seems to be the a great starting point we will see when pricing is announced next week.
not selling just adding

Do most of you guys really think it will be more than a ZL1 coupe? I really did not put in to perspective, but I guess with the expense of the engine and the ceramic brakes it is really possible? It is an awesome looking car! If I was a diehard track guy I would not care about the lack of creature comforts. I wonder what other options besides AC will b available?
