Chevy engine management code encryption

I'm considering an HPE Exorcist package on a 2022 ZLE however I understand that the engine management encryption GM uses on C8 Corvettes AND 2021 Camaros has not been broken to date. Is this still an issue for the tuners? Heard anything about GM's move for this level of encryption for all vehicles eventually?

It's only the T93 TCM that hasn't been cracked yet (and likely won't ever be), but even with that Houston House of Power found a way to swap the T87A into those A10 cars and tune the transmission. You should have no problems getting a 2022 ZLE tuned.

Wow the 2022s haven’t been built yet and some people are wanting to know if they can get tuning for them!

Nothing like the rush you get from having a car with 4 miles on the odometer tuned. You can almost feel the gentle breeze as your warranty is whooshing out the door

If somebody can write encrypted computer code somebody can crack it always it just takes time.

True, but that time might just be more than what's left before the (projected) collapse of our solar system or even the (projected) heat death of the universe.

There is no technical hindrance to using practically unbreakable encryption, after all, it isn't the human writing the code that is ensuring its security but the underlying algorithm and math theory. I think the reasons behind not using strong enough encryption are that

1) car companies aren't ready to completely destroy the aftermarket,
2) companies want to ensure the presence of backdoors so they can fix things if needed (risk mitigation),
3) companies hire the cheapest possible labor and gravitate towards simpler solutions that someone else already implemented (risk mitigation),
4) these systems are worked on by car enthusiasts

or any combination of these and possibly other reasons I didn't think of, never having worked on automotive software
