And yeah, I can't stand driving the car like that... But when I'm done washing it, I don't have time to change my clothes and it is already covered... So I've been driving it like that for few weeks now. But yeah this year is crazy... Maybe because of the cicadas getting out this year??

That's my dilemma about taking a vehicle through a high school cheerleader fundraising carwash. Gotten to the point where I just give them $10 not to wash my car as I drive though.

Don’t think you would want to live in California since most everyone is leaving!

Anyone ever been to a self-service wash? Pensacola recommends against washing car in the driveway so that seems like its out...
I was going to go ahead and do a self-service and bring my own wax/wash/sponges if needed, anyone have advice?

Maybe I will just do it in the driveway or perhaps I guess use their products. Thanks for the heads up, I used to just visit my parents and wash/wax all of our cars at once in their driveway, now that is not a realistic option.

It's brutal here in Va - especially for those of us with black cars and parked outside. Get maybe 12 hours out of a wash before it's filthy.
