Haha loved this one.

And yeah, I can't stand driving the car like that... But when I'm done washing it, I don't have time to change my clothes and it is already covered... So I've been driving it like that for few weeks now.

But yeah this year is crazy...

Maybe because of the cicadas getting out this year??

Hey! I'm close to Montreal, in Valleyfield.

Wish I could get away from winters and go live in California too...

Works wonderfully for pollen
And like 80 grit if you do not.

That's my dilemma about taking a vehicle through a high school cheerleader fundraising carwash. Gotten to the point where I just give them $10 not to wash my car as I drive though.

Don’t think you would want to live in California since most everyone is leaving!

PA the air is still being saturated by all the tree semen.

Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating + Leaf Blower = Win

Yup, in CO we've had a very wet spring, lots of pollen.

SiO2 + Leaf Blower FTW!

Anyone ever been to a self-service wash? Pensacola recommends against washing car in the driveway so that seems like its out...

I was going to go ahead and do a self-service and bring my own wax/wash/sponges if needed, anyone have advice?

Areas will vary but I have found some frown on you using your own stuff to "wash" the car and some do not care. It is more about length of time you are in the stall. And if possible do not put that water on your windshield sometimes it can have the engine cleaner or wax and coat your windshield. When I had to go to one of them I let the water run for a while before I put it anywhere on the car.

And do not use the brush!

Hmm, there is a hose at my house. The city ordinance/ecological board just recommends against washing in the driveway, they want you to wash over your yard, there is no actual law against it...

Maybe I will just do it in the driveway or perhaps I guess use their products.

Thanks for the heads up, I used to just visit my parents and wash/wax all of our cars at once in their driveway, now that is not a realistic option.

It's brutal here in Va - especially for those of us with black cars and parked outside. Get maybe 12 hours out of a wash before it's filthy.
