BTW I had a brick that leaked and independtly confirmed it outside of the car with another pressure test. It was leaking across the seam of the connector fluid interface block to fin area.

Glad you caught it cause pistons don't really like to compress coolant, the rods get pissed off and you know what happens then. Thats something we didn't make at Magnuson and those bricks are expensive and not all made equal, some flow much better then others and your very limited because of the space it has to be placed in. Lots of engineering goes into these blowers

Not sure about the 2650, but on the 2300 maggie there is a rubber like gasket and uses a cap which appears very much like yours. Also, yes, I confirm it seeps fluid from the expansion tank cap, irrespective of how much you tighten the damn thing with or without the gasket. The only way to open the cap is by wearing rubber gloves each time.

I was actually seeking a quality replacement expansion tank that supports a similar flow.

Great supercharger, but this part is frankly terrible.

The best part of all, try to contact the Magnuson company for a replacement part. They exclusively source their own spare parts and never have what you need in stock, including the new expansion tank.

I had a good experience with Magnuson when my IC brick started leaking. The part was still under warranty and they replaced it free of charge.
