Great year andcolor choice. But I might be biased. Two pedals or three? Congrats and enjoy.

Blue was my preferred color choice when I first started looking.

Passed over Hot Wheels first few times. But then it grew on me real fast and nothing else was going to make the grade for this go round.

Maybe blue on next one.

Only 2 for this guy. It has the A8. I've done my homework on this engine, and the shudder issues. The guy that had this car before me was very good about maintaining the car. I have a copy of all the service records on this car. The previous owner had put an Elite Engineering catch can on, and left it on when he traded it in. Shows he cared about his car. I had one on my previous camaro. He had oil changes regularly, plus had the flush done twice from what I gather. My wife works for Chevy, so the car was gone over by the there corvette guy. Just added 4 extra years of warranty, and good to go.

on my colorado, which also has the same A8 trans - I haven't really noticed the shudder yet. Truck as 14K miles on it (ironically same mileage as my 2016 SS). I figure I will get it flushed by a dealer once I actually notice an issue. I'm not too worried about it. It's a great trans so far in my experience - big upgrade over the A6 on the V6 colorado. Probably less of a big deal on a V8 car. The camaro's both have 6 speed manuals!

The A8 is a great transmission. It has "gathered" a lot of hate because GM did mess up on the torque converter/fluid issue, but the latest (Jan 2019) fluid seems solid; when it doesn't fix a shudder, it's because the TC had been damaged too far and needs to be replaced.

My A8 (tuned by Ted Jannetty) is nearly as perfect as a slush box can be, smooth when cruising and an animal at WOT and in performance shift mode, selecting the correct gear at all times, downshifting and upshifting just as well or better than I would do with an M6. The one remaining flaw is the slow paddle response time, which AFAIK cannot be brought up to DCT or even A10 levels, but that's okay with me.

Hello. I'm new here too. Funny thing is, I traded my 2016 Colorado Z71 for a 2018 1SS. Looking forward to being on the forum. Used to have a 1999 Corvette C5 for a number of years.

I second that (along with side views at minimum). Welcome to the club!

The previous owner had this done, and it has held up well. The previous owner really took good care of this car.
