Try a strong mix of Super Clean.

Just did this in under 5 min with 3:1 super clean and a rag to scrub with (my SS floormats)

Option 2, more involved, more powerful

Put some OxiClean powder in a small cup, and put in a few drops of water at a time until it makes a gritty paste. Put it on the letters, and rub it in.add a little water and powder, rub it in. Let it sit a few hours. Get a wet towel and rub the letters again. Using fresh parts of the towel until there is no lather. You might even want to use a towel damp with white vinegar(this will neutralize the soap), but then use a wet towel again.

Wow, what a difference. I was able to get them whiter than before but nowhere near that. Thank you, I'll give that a try over the weekend and let you know. Much appreciated.

They cost about $130 +/- for the pair of fronts.
