Get what you pay for...

It seems this year there are a lot more "dealer installed options" that a lot of buyers are purchasing, or at least interested in....

Anyway I recall a few scenarios from the 5thGen that caused some "controversy"....so here goes...

If you buy a dealer installed option (and it replaces something already on the car from the factory), then that "something" that gets replaced is your property to take home after the dealer has installed the other "option"...

Brakes, for example...if your rotors and calipers are replaced at the dealer, the ones that came on the car are yours to keep also...floor mats, spoilers, whatever it may be....tires and wheels (?) even....the originals are yours and not the dealers to keep....but I think you must ask for them, otherwise they will just "disappear"...

Not trying to stir the pot or cause upset, and I may be wrong, but if you are interested, I believe those parts are yours to keep....

Any way, good luck....just thought I'd throw it out there....

Yeah, I dunno...probably not at that price....I think it had to do more with wheels that came with the RS package....other optional wheels were selected..., but there was no credit or whatever for the RS wheels...not sure...

But just on that list, things like engine cover, floor mats, hood vents, bow-ties....If they are also an accessory you can buy, then you should get the original back, even if the dealer "installs" those items...I would look into it, especially for like the brake package.

Wait, so there is a blue interior trim kit? I was just playing around on Chevy's site and was bummed that they only had red and white.

The lights are color changing, you could always just switch them to blue. Why would they have an option for that?

It's a limited builder right now so just keep checking it for a huge update with all the other options.
