I think that's true, since IIRC GS and Z06 use the same steel brakes as SS 1LE.

~$325 shipped per rotor (to Florida at least)using the AC Delco part numbers with the 5% off code (MMJL811).
Not bad. Did anyone determine whether or not the brake caliper bolts are actually TTY on the Gen 6 1LE? If so, does anyone know the part number?

I don't know what you are waiting for.... The gm part numbers are on page 1 of this thread and the DBA ring part #'s are in the thread titled as such.

Sorry for not being clear. Talking about part numbers for the bolts to mount the calipers to the knuckle.

First Pass: 150 N-m (111 lb ft) Final Pass: 15-30 degrees but they don't say to use new ones, just clean and re-apply thread locker. I used new ones to be on the safe side. The new ones come with a dry thread locker on them already. Last edited by carguy55; 02-21-2020 at 05:29 AM. |

Interesting. Are you sure they aren't TTA? Is this the official GM service guide?

I just looked through the service manual and there is no listed procedure for J6M(1LE) or J6H(zl1) listed. However on standard camaro brembos the procedure deos not call for replacement of hardware.

I think TTA is closer to what it is, but I'm no expert. My info comes from the Front Brake Caliper Replacement (J6M) Installation Procedure and also the 6-piston Brembo install instructions.

Curious if anyone has tried the 2012-2015 ZL1 front rotors in an 18 SS 1LE. Appears they both share the same 6 piston, 370mm rotor setup. AC Delco part number 177-1145/6 and it prices out a little cheaper

Like was said they have different hats. You could save $60 per rotor by buying the ones you have listed and then changing the hats, if in fact the rotors are the same. Any volunteers to try it?
