In my experience batteries last exactly one month past the warranty expiration.

Pretty much my recipe as well. Once the battery hits 5 years, I just start looking for two problems, slower cranking and quirky behavior with the electronics, particularly door lock/unlock logic. In my experience door lock stuff seems to be pretty voltage sensitive.

There's some voodoo with AGM's. I've had new ones with current manufacture dates test anywhere between 12.7 to 12.98 volts fully charged. Supposedly some can hit over 13 volts. I haven't hit that yet. Not sure if the higher voltage translates to longer life.

May 2016 build, purchased Labor Day 2016, daily driver still on original battery. I had a hot start/slow crank issue last week that required a jump start. I've had hot start/slow crank issues on occasion, but this was the first time it failed to start. Checked the resting voltage the next day - 12.2V. Got 7 years out of it. Replacement battery should be delivered this Friday.

3 years or so is the most I've gotten out of mine but the Southern heat is pretty hard on them. Same with all the vehicles I've owned.

Battery Life

I have a 2020 Camaro 2SS build date:Nov.2019 with only 10,760 miles on it and I still don't need to change my stock battery. I use a smart charger once a month and if the charge "zeroes" out, the battery is good. When it finally gets too tired to show a full charge then that's when I will get a new H6 AGM.

Two years. I’m changing it out before it leaves me stranded.

2016 SS (built late 2015, I think) original battery is still going. Only drive 3-4000 miles a year. Short drives only, 5 miles or less, one way. Car is usually outside the garage in hot & sunny Florida except 1 week a month.
Last year, it seemed like it was going to go dead, but I started hooking it up to a battery tender with "desulfator". Now, its as strong as ever. I used to have hot start issues, not any more, after using the battery tender.

It's a trunk mounted AGM, so 7-10 years should be expected minimum. Our cars have overly-conservative thermal protection charging logic that will tend to result in under-charging, so folks like myself with garage queens may get fooled into premature replacement. Seen it happen to daily drivers too. Throw a tender on the battery for a day or so every quarter to avoid this. If you keep it healthy, it may last 20 years.
