Lopey cam

For all of the Cammed individuals, could you please send your cam specs and a video of the car idling? Looking to get a nice lopey cam for my 22 A10 SS and would very much appreciate some sound clips and specs

I would suggest researching different N/A builds here on C6. That’s a difficult question to answer without goals for the car. What’s your plans? Street, Strip, Road Course? Big cams require big converters and other supporting mods.

Like back in the LS days one could recommend a TRex cam (throwback lol) which will chop like no other and sound badass, but if it’s a street car with no additional supporting mods you will hate it. Also driving around a big converter car has its disadvantages as well, I’ve been there. Fuel mileage sucks, everyone thinks you are trying to race them when you just want to accelerate normally, etc…

As far as popular cams the BTR220 seems to be getting attention here, mild cam. But it won’t have a ton of lope, but street friendly for a mild build.

Really can't go wrong with either one of these cams... both tried and true.

The btr220 seems to thump pretty good and doesn’t need a new converter.

As mentioned, power extends further than most will likely take it.

I have the Katech Torquer Cam. It's considered like a mild cam. It's has a little lope but it produce some good power and very streetable.
