Whatever this goes for, will set the top of the market IMO, more dumb money on BAT than anywhere. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...amaro-coupe-4/

I highly doubt it will bring more than the Barrett Jackson ZL1 CE car did. The last ZL1 CE that went through BAT went for $106K, the BJ car brought $236K.

If we're guessing I'll say it goes for around $155K on BAT.

2 totally different markets. 1 is online with us regular Joe's looking for something affordable. The other are a bunch of rich people that have more money they know what to do with.

Want the one sold at Barrett Jackson for charity as well? That also makes the price support inflated as well.

Anyways, I've inquired about a Garage 56 ZL1 in Arizona at O'Reilly Chevrolet. The person I talked to said it was on the lot and told them I was interested but haven't heard diddly from them in a couple of days. I'm mainly trying to find the price that they are selling it for. It says $89k (which is sticker) on their website but I'd love to get one if that is the price..... even if the wife is telling me no....

That's just nuts. I could almost understand the high price if it were a special high performance edition and not just an appearance package. There are other ZL1s with lower production numbers.

That's how it goes. Low production with a certain package (even if it's decals) plus being the "last" production year of a model (even though the Camaro stopped in 2002..... and came back) all helps.

You can look at other cars the same way to. Here are certain limited production vehicles but for some reason certain colors will sale for way more. With the only difference being color.

Yup...I was commenting on that during the auction... I don't understand it really but the Garage 56 Livery / Heritage really means a lot to some...

Only 56 units and the end of production year of an icon, I guess those rich folks can gamble and speculate on what the future holds.

Some were saying that people over seas / exporters at buying these up and crazy prices...

Another thing too is people trying to buy these up at whatever price in hopes that in decades from now, they can turn around and sell it for way more. Which I highly doubt. This isn't something like a 2005-2006 Ford GT but whatever.

My dealer got one in last week and it sold for MSRP. I took a couple of pics. The guy who bought it is leaving all the plastic on it and putting it in storage hoping the value will increase.

I’d flip it immediately if it would sell for over $160k profit.

No disrespect but I don't believe that's even possible. These cars hit dealers well over a week ago and none of them sold to the public for MSRP.

I agree 100%....It's the simple fact of only 56 units and the Garage56 Livery / History... It doesn't hurt that the Camaro is now canceled but this could happen to any car with only 56 units produced I guess...

Still crazy money for that car.

If someone got one at MSRP, that dealer is going to Kick themselves in their own A$$ if they find out what they missed out on!!!!

And that guy is one lucky SOB!!

I would lend towards this too... Hard to believe any dealer let that slip by without knowing what they were doing...

Personally, I love the prices and the attention. All the ZL 1’s and its variants are finally getting the attention they deserved. So many non Chevrolet people are finally catching word these are gone forever.

I agree about the attention and education on how good these cars are... Should only help values of all the normal cars in the short and hopefully long term.
