MotorTrend’s Head to Head - Hellcat Widebody vs ZL1
Hi all,
Didnt see this posted and looks like the ZL1 is pre 2019 refresh, but it’s up for free on YouTube. Posting it for those of us who don’t have MT subscription. Having driven both cars, I honestly didn’t expect a different outcome. Enjoy! https://youtu.be/2NYXagDFDTA

Saw this earlier....Great explanation of the 2 cars!
I'll say it again...It's PATHETIC that GM doesn't Market THIS WORLD CLASS CAR!!! |

100% agreed. Seeing all the hype around the new cars from the other big two, GM drops the ball consistently on the marketing front for their performance cars.

Thank you for posting. Great video.
Glad to see that MotorTrend doesn't have their head where the sun doesn't shine. Clearly the ZL1 is the superior car. SIX SECONDS faster around Willow? That's ridiculous. Crazy to put the two in the same class, because they truly aren't. The ZL1 is in its own class; it's much faster and cheaper than M cars, it whoops its "Muscle car" category. It stands next to Ferraris and Porsches without flinching. Proud to own one. |

GM lacks world class advertisers.

They are, but Jonny Liberman is a Camaro fan from what I have seen. Following him on social media, I have seen him recommend Camaro many times.

I'm okay with that.
If it had the marketing equal to its performance, it would be priced much higher. I don't need everyone around me to know how great my car is, it just needs to put a smile on my face when I drive it.

I get your point but higher cost or not, it beats not having one when you're ready to upgrade to the next level of Camaro which ID coming before they're done. A nice twin turbo'd option would be hard to walk away from at 90k.

For $90K money, I am looking at a lightly used GT4. If all the cards line up right it will be the upcoming PDK GT4. But this is a few years out.
