Just talked to my sales guy and my car is built and now shipping... BUT, the Canadian National rail workers have walked off the job! Is this a sign that maybe I shouldn’t have this car? Perhaps the car will ship with CP rail instead.

Try punching your VIN in this link. To me it shows a delivery receipt which I’m pretty sure means it’s on its way. Now the rail system walkout I’m not sure about.

Don’t worry about the login just go to the search icon and punch in your VIN

Thanks for that. The other strange thing is it shows up as an SS on the way bill.... Right colour, vin and order #, strange.

I noticed that too but wouldn’t worry about it. If it shows up and is an SS then I would raise hell.

Don't worry, almost all trim designations are wrong on those waybills, my 2SS came in as a 1LT for example. As long as the VIN matches, you're good.

Hi "ZL1 affair"..., i haven't been in a good mood lately to be chatting on this site... i'm so pissed off.
Its been so damn complicated getting this camaro ZL1... , even from the beginning. My first salesperson was a woman who decided to go to retirement without feeling me or transferring my dossier to another salesperson, showed up at the dealer and got the odd look as if i was an alien. They gave me another sales rep to handle my order...a new guy, again...i show up one day and get the "he doesn't work here anymore"... so i goto the top this time...to see the sales manager, and tell him YOU handle my order...no one else. All those problems made me loose my chance at getting a 2019 model.
But when i got the ok to order a 2020 i rushed to the dealer to put in the order. Now the car is built...i don't know which date it was built though... my vin's ending is L0115179, i'm assuming it was built the second or third week of november, it was shipped nov.18 to the autoport in michigan for train shipment.
Since nov.18 it has remained bayed "4B00" and will likely remain bayed for several more weeks because they do not ship often to montreal quebec canada.
I'm terribly sorry for "unloading" my guts here on this forum,... but what i have written here is just the tip of the huge iceberg of complications that have occurred in my "relentless quest" for owning a 6th gen Camaro ZL1. The trick i found to give me moral support to not give up and throw in the towel is watching Motortrends head to head video on Youtube of the camaro zl1 vs challenger hellcat wide body.
I'm thinking of telling the sales manager that starting January 1st... for every day the car doesn't show up...to deduct $100 off msrp !!! But i don't like resorting to threats.
Ouff ... so that's my new hurdle... getting the car transported.
After that... what's next?

By the way... i miswrote earlier "feeling me" about the saleswoman, ...what i meant was "telling me"

Yes, only 30 cars apart. I put my vin into my Onstar garage and the warranty tracker shows my new car warranty ends Nov 14, 2022.. I would assume that the November 14 is the day my car came to life and that the warranty tracker will change once it has a new in service date.. (Delivered to me)

Funny your car didn't ship until the 18th, mine shipped on Friday November 15th. Our cars are sitting in some yard covered in industrial fall out and snow when it should have been tucked away in my garage.

24 weeks since I placed the order, unreal...

I feel your pain Drews and ZL1. I haven't been on here much myself as while mine is built, it's been sitting there since about Nov 13 just waiting to be sent to the train yard and loaded up. I'm purchasing mine from Becky though, so thankfully she's been on the ball and doing what she can to get GM moving on it. My VIN isn't that far from the two of yours either, L0114366.

Sorry to hear you guys are having so much trouble getting your cars. I took delivery of mine on 12/7. Mine is up on my Quickjack in the garage waiting on a new rear tire. I picked up a piece of metal and eventually destroyed the tire.
