Don't have any pics atm but I will see if I can get some up later today. They attach via 2 screws. 1 of which is a phillips screw that is not visible. The stanchion actually is hollow in the middle, there is a channel from the bottom part which sits on the trunk lid to the body of the wing where the screw goes through.

The second screw is a black allen head that is visible from the outside but doesn't stand out much. I do however HEAVILY recommend you temporarily mask off the hole for the allen head before putting it in as you can scratch a visible part of the stanchion when fastening the screw if you are not careful.

I know it's not a 6th Gen, but here's what it looks like on the 5th Gen.

I haven't attached it yet, as you can see there are some fitment issues that need to be sanded to the correct angles.

This wing is from 6LE Designs. The build quality of this wing is much better than the wing that Arugon received from 6LE.

I would still not recommend them, as it took 6 months and I had to call and arrange a pickup from the manufacturer myself after the 4th cancelled delivery date.

The stancions are similar to OEM, but the interior angles are less exaggerated.
This is fine for my applications since I plan to replace the stancions with shorter ones anyways.
They offer a non-carbon version for $100 less.
I went with C7 Carbon, due to their strong reputation, reasonable price,
and responsiveness to my calls and emails with questions.
...
@SinginHawk or has anyone else been able to find shorter stancions for the C7 Carbon 1le wing? I really want to find some that are a bit shorter so it doesn't stick up so tall. I already have the c7 carbon wing that is the short version not tall, but I want a bit shorter...

Any new developments in the 1LE big wing world?

C7 Carbon still the way to go without spending "used car money" on the GM unit?

Thanks

It is a separate sticker that is included with the wing! Don't know who the manufacturer is and I don't GM would tell you.

There hasn't been anything produced by a manufacturer except for C7, whose stancions are either at OEM height or slightly taller. I plan on going with a CAD designer on fiver.com, then a 3D printer, and finally a local shop to make a mold. It'll take some time to come to fruition, but I'll keep you in the loop. I'm going for OEM angles/fitment, so hopefully it will require no further modification.

Yeah it looks like C7 is the current way to go. However, I'm personally not a fan of their straight-armed stancions or increased attack angle of the wing. I'm sure those design decisions have something to do with copyright at this point though.
