Has anyone ordered post-strike?

Can you confirm your order has been picked up by GM? Has your vehicle been issued a TPW? Just trying to make sense of what my dealer is telling me, I know they're not in a hurry to give a bunch of people bad news, but it would be nice to know the gears are actually turning. Thanks in advance

Try asking Becky directly about your order status in this thread, she is going to be most helpful.

Yes. The dealership entered my order on 10/21 and it got to 3400 status on 11/4, with TPW of 11/4.

Thanks all, yes I've spoken to Becky, just trying to arm myself with information before I go into dealer and call them all liars. Now I know that is going to be necessary, thanks to you Eric.

One more thing "we" need to know; what is the best percent off of MSRP for an order out 2020.
The best I found was 7.6% off plus available rebates in 2-3 months when the car get's delivered.

Anyone getting more? How much?

If you go through my post history, you'll see that around 3 years ago, I ordered a ZL1 from a dealer that did not have an allocation to get the car.

https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=564691

Looking back, I'm still surprised they took a deposit for a car they did not have an allocation for. I'm not sure what their plan was.....

I don't think you need to call them all liars, but there is going to be a person at the dealership that orders the cars. That person will know whether Chevrolet has accepted the order, or they haven't. If I'd known this 3 years ago, I'd have saved myself a lot of aggravation.

I'll concede to a little internet toughie venting in my comments, I'll do my best to conduct myself with class. Just having read you've gone from ordered to likely built and I don't know jack squat when I "ordered" on 9/30...set me off a bit.

That is still some of the dumbest #$%@#^ known to man. GM is a business, if said person wants to buy from that business sell them a damn car. It's not like it was a black market franchise.

The dealer is the problem. They are their ... and GM's ... and our ... worst enemy.

To e..delman, If I understand your post, you ordered a 2020 ZL1, have a TPW of 11/24 and live in Syracuse, NY?
Does the dealer feel confident that CHEVY will deliver that (or any) ZL1 to cold temperature states this time of year because of the summer only tires??

Yes, but......
We ordered the car from Watson Chevy in Tucson, AZ. Our plan is to fly out in March to pick it up for a vacation.
