Love my ZL1 but man the C8 looks promising

Drop this right in here —->

Can’t wait to see the higher HP models of the C8.

I wouldn't exactly call someone that can afford a C8 a "poor man".

Still need back seats even if they are fairly useless to adults so no two seaters for me for awhile.

Otherwise, I'd be looking at them. I have to think the dealer markup is gonna be insane on these for the foreseeable future. It's gonna make the GT350/R ADMs look small is my guess.

They need to show other stats than just 0-60. The transmission gearing is doing that for them. What I'd like to see are a few things. 1) Show us something up to 120 NOT using 1st, where the engine has to put something into it. 2) Pull some HPDEs on 85-90 degree days running all sessions, but more importantly this would come into play with the higher HP versions of the C8. (The C7 GS was great on track). Do this on a VIR or Road Atlanta... some tracks with longer duration straights and a bit of elevation to tax the engine a bit.

The C8 is a great looking car, I do hope GM got it right this time

People keep saying this and I am sure a few dealers will try and rape people but there are plenty of dealers taking orders right now at msrp.

I really hope that sticks for those people. Having had a couple of GT350s and being a part of M6G we saw a lot of shady dealers pull some crap on people that had an ordered car etc.

Every dealer I've spoken too claims they are doing MSRP. Pretty cool.

In one of the magazine reviews, it's not much faster than a C7 Z51 around their track due to built in understeer. Looks like I'll be waiting for the C8 Z06 for sure. I'm definitely grabbing an A10 ZLE now, just wanted to make sure the C8 Z51 didn't have any lap time black magic first.
