You can track it’s parked location with the MAPS app on your iPhone. Idk if it’s because of the LoJack but my phone always notifies me my cars location when I open MAPs

If you're talking about Apple Maps, it has nothing to do with the car...when you exit your car, iOS knows you left your car because the Bluetooth disconnected (I think it was iOS 10 they introduced this). This just tells you where you parked your car (not necessarily where it is), but you can use the myChevrolet app to see its live location.

The myChevrolet app uses OnStar services to locate the vehicle. Vehicle location is part of the OnStar services available for a monthly fee after your free trial expires. The price of the OnStar package depends on which features you purchase. I think the least expensive OnStar package that includes vehicle location is $15/month.
