TREMEC TR-6060 noisy when cold?

I have a 2013 ZL1, when the outside temp is below 50-55 the transmission is noisy, you can hear the gears spinning when you start it and let the clutch out. Then driving you can hear the same noise in all gears until it warms up about 3-4 miles. Then it's quiet. In warm weather its fine, Is this normal?

What clutch do you have in there? My Monster Triple does exactly that because the hubs on the clutch disks aren't damped. Putting RP Synchromax in the transmission made it less noticeable.

If it's the stock clutch I'd say change the trans fluid use Redline D4 atf.

Those dex3 fluid GM uses are soo noisy.

The rear end is noisy on mine when cold, even after a fluid change with the correct GM stuff. But nothing from the trans

Mine makes noise when it is cold going into 2nd. Everything is fine once the trans warms up.

Tremec are noisy when cold both Z and Mustangs, but after a few miles they are ok. You can change the fluid so its easier to shift at colder temps.

Mine is noisy when cold... but clears up after a few miles. No issues in the warmer months. Totally normal.

Bushings/mounts are rubber. The colder it gets, the harder they get and thus more noise is transmitted into the car.

Cold weather is always fun for the Z. Mine makes the gear noise for a couple miles too. Think its more the diff then the transmission. On the first day of cold weather I always throw a O2 sensor code as well. Supercharger gets a little more "whirry" too.
