Be careful what you ask for. Until they abandon this "Real People, Not Actors" type of current advertising for Chevrolet, not having any Camaro commercials is a good thing. Imagine Camaro commercials in the umbrella of the current horrible and embarrassing ads now being produced. Until they dump the current tv ads and marketing theme for all of Chevrolet, thank God there are no Camaro commercials.

Oh geeze, had to laugh a little at the thought of some of the possibilities of that one

GM first needs to hire a real car person to run the company. Not just someone politically correct.

Yep! I never seen a Mustang Commercial as well. Dodge does their thing better then the rest at this point but does it really make me want to get into one their cars more? Nope...

I saw a Camaro (just Camaro) commercial on NBC during the Olympics. Can't seem to find it online, though, and I haven't seen it since. It was like a unicorn.

OTOH, I can understand the Kia ad placement, since I probably watch shows similar to your tastes.
Had I tuned in last night, I would've learned some new information:
1) The Kia Stinger exists
2) Emerson Fittipaldi is still alive.

Thats the key, you were a prospective buyer. They are missing millions who are not currently Prospective buyers waiting to be turned into prospective buyers. I really don't have a clue why GM/Chevy marketing sucks. Even their online camaro configuration/build website sucks. Tried adding adding hash marks in the build and it never even showed up in the Pic. Been like that forever. Had to totally change to a color that I didn't want before it worked. And the over all quality of the pic is ridiculously bad. Mustangs build site pictures are so much more realistic and good enough to print out. GM marketing just suck.

They also need to lose that wimpy "Find New Roads" slogan. Should go back to "See the USA in a Chevrolet".

Commercials are mostly trucks and SUVs because that's what's selling. Maybe it's all they're selling because that's all they advertise.

Great point! I can't imagine that idiot asking people questions about the Camaro.... I can hear him now... "We made the side windows smaller to keep the sun out of your eyes"

But Becky, these aren't exactly new... Also, I can't even find the new and cool "Camaro family" video on that channel unless I'm specifically searching for it.

It's as if the company weren't really invested in the success of these videos or the current Camaro brand marketing efforts as a whole.

The thing that gets me is how many potential Camaro buyers won't even consider one because they just didn't think about one. Out of sight, out of mind.

GM's advertising in general is pretty awful IMO. Ford's isnt much better.

The only mustang commercial I've seen is with that hot looking woman who takes the microphone and places it in front of the exhaust pipe of the mustang to hear how loud it is..

In order to make money you have to spend money. T.V. commercial speaking. Word of mouth does not cut it in the advertising world.
